no i am talking about sexual conversations, sexual education and sexual illiteracy -which i am totally against-.
the other day i was at botany class, and before that i was extremely shocked by the fact that STD'S could be transmitted even with the use of condoms and i couldn't keep it in actually.
so back to the topic, in class and when everyone was there, i waited until the doctor had free time, as he handed papers, allot of papers with not-so-witty remarks, i thought lets pop the question!
"Dr. Hany, is it true that condoms may not be 100% preventive, stopping STD's i mean?"
the doctor said that he'll answer me later, so i didn't give it much thought, i really thought he doesn't have time, so i gave him a break.
the lesson ended, and everyone was out except for myself, because i really wanted to know.
instead of him answering my question he said "this topic is not to be brought up with girls around", i gave him a look, and when he was frightened by my look, he answered my question.
when i said thanks and left, every one of the guys was waiting outside, and they gave me a huge lecture on how sex, STD's and condoms shouldn't be brought up in the presence of women.
over 100 girls gets raped yearly in Kuwait.
over 50 girls get raped, molested or assaulted by members of their of family members yearly.
over 500 girls don't know the fact that they lost their virginity when they were children, thus they get dumped, divorced, left out and even killed for the thought and the suspicion of adultery.
over 5000 women do not get orgasms, do not enjoy sexual behavior with their husbands nor even feel intimacy because of their illiteracy about sex, life and because of being abused.

when do we get to tell women about sex?
when do we care to lower the ratio of abuse and molestation?
when do we -Future Doctors- feel free to talk about sex?
