Jim Carrey

James Eugene Carrey was born January 17,1962 in Newmarket Ontario and is known for his performances as a stand up comedian.  The roles he played on the show In Living Color were hilarious.  His popular movies include Ace Ventura Pet Detective,Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls,Bruce Almighty,Liar Liar,The Truman Show,Man On The Moon,Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind,The Mask,Dumb and Dumber,How the Grinch Stole Christmas,Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events,FunWith Dick and Jane and Yes Man.

(February 2007), Carrey remarked, "If my career in show business hadn't panned out I would probably be working today in Hamilton, Ontario at the Dofasco steel mill."  When looking across the Burlington Bay toward Hamilton, he could see the mills and thought, "those were where the great jobs were."
In the early 1980's Jim was noticed by Rodney Dangerfield while working at The Comedy Store in LA to the stand up on Dangerfield's tour performances.
Carrey has a chipped tooth; for his role in Dumb and Dumber, he simply removed the tooth cap.
